With the release of "Trucks, Pubs & Plains" by EMI Music, I was asked to choose the 'Truckin' songs & with so many to choose from where would I start?  

Then to be asked to write the CD sleeve  for Slim's  "Sittin' on 80" album I was honoured. I still think back to the day that we spoke in 1998 & how I explained to Slim I would like to start a show on my local Community Radio Station.

I wanted to share it with you so that you could gain a greater understanding of the way that Slim assisted me with my radio career and how the "Truck'n with Tim" program began..
